Shelly has been practicing esthetics and makeup artistry since 2006. Since moving to the beach in 1996, Shelly has found her niche in the beauty industry. Shelly's years of experience in the industry has helped her develop an artistic eye and attention to detail.
Her makeup has been featured in several publications for bridal, editorial and styled shoots. Whether it’s a wedding or a special event, Shelly loves to work with her clients to achieve that perfect look!
Shelly is a passionate esthetician offering customized facial treatments and waxing in the spa. With a love for continuous learning, Shelly regularly explores new techniques and innovations in skincare to deliver exceptional, up-to-date services. Whether in the spa or on-location as a makeup artist, she is dedicated to enhancing her clients’ natural beauty with personalized care.

Growing up outside of Atlanta, Lindsay has always had a love and interest in the hair and makeup industry. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2004 and loves to share her knowledge with her clients. Lindsay specializes in color, balayage and cutting.
Education is Lindsay’s number one love. She loves to learn about anything and everything that has to do with this ever evolving industry. Training and education courses are a top priority to ensure her craft remains current and up to date.

Salon Manager
Nicole is the Salon Manager at Beauty and Bloom. She has 9+ years of experience managing a high volume salon and spa. Nicole is a master multitasker, and takes pride in all that she does by demonstrating her talent on a regular basis. She is also responsible for the efficient day to day operations of the salon. Nicole meets every challenge with enthusiasm and determinaton. Her attention to detail will ensure that you are taken care of from the moment you call to book your appointment until you walk out the door.
Her goal is to ensure that each client has an overall enjoyable experience, and leaves happier than they were when they arrived. Nicole will greet you at the door with a smile!
Makayla Cook

Hi! My name is Makayla Cook. I am a licensed cosmetologist from Wilmington, North Carolina. I’ve been doing hair since 2020, and I’m so excited to be a part of this incredible industry. I specialize in hand-tied extensions and color, and I’m all about creating beautiful, personalized styles while making sure you have a fun and relaxing experience.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m at home with my two kids and my husband, probably running around with them or finding time for a little shopping or travel. I also love trying out new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen!
I’m passionate about building genuine connections with my clients and helping them feel their absolute best, whether it’s a fresh cut, color, nor a flawless set of extensions. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your hair goals, and work together to make them happen!

With 17 years of experience in the hairstyling industry, Julee built her career on helping clients look and feel their best. Her passion for color and creativity allows her to craft personalized looks for every age and hair texture, all while ensuring you feel completely at ease.
She loves bringing out the best in her clients, creating a comfortable, judgement-free space where they can relax and enjoy the process. Whether they’re seeking a bold new look or a subtle refresh, her goal is to help you shine from the inside out.

Lydia has been in the industry for over 10 years, and she’s been with Beauty and Bloom for over three years. She enjoys doing lived-in, blended color and cutting and she’s excited to meet you!
Beks Palumbo
Stylist

Beks has been licensed for 8 years and started her career in Pittsburgh, PA. She was raised by deaf parents & is fluent in American Sign Language. She is Brazilian Blowout Certified & recently became Bellami Extension Certified.
Her approach to the beauty industry is not simply to make people feel beautiful, but to create real connections. On her days off she loves to explore North Carolina.
Jennifer Ward
Stylist
Jen has been a licensed stylist for 17 years, graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2007 and was the recipient of the "Eye for Style" scholarship. She received training under Beth Minardi's advanced color course, contributing to the development of leading hair color products like Shades EQ. With extensive experience in editorial hair and makeup, Jen finds inspiration and creativity in her work. She enjoys all aspects of the craft, from cutting to coloring.
In her free time, Jen can be found spending time with her three boys - Pheonix, Indie, and Liam - along with her dog Nico, reading, or relaxing at the beach.
Kati Weeks
Stylist
Born and raised in Clinton, NC, this southern belle has a passion for all things beauty. From shags & lived in blondes- to glam makeup, Kati does it all! Her biggest goal is to help women feel beautiful.
In her free time, Kati enjoys spending time with her cat Indy, going to the beach and thrifting!
Isabella Klomp
Stylist
Born in California, raised in Montana, spent her teenage years in Pennsylvania, and a spurt of time in Nicaragua, Isabella has been all over the globe her entire life. Through her adventures, she’s picked up a love for surfing. In her free time you may find her at the beach or cuddled up with a good book.
Isabella attended cosmetology school at the Career Institute of Technology in Pennsylvania, and finished before she graduated high school. Isabella may be a young stylist, but she has lots of experience! She specializes in hair cutting, but she also loves her blondes and brunettes.
Education is one of Isabella’s favorite things, she always wants to make sure she can provide the best and most up to date services for everyone that sits in her chair.
Taylor Isherwood
Esthetician
Taylor is a NC-native and has been in the beauty industry since she was a young teenager. After attending East Carolina University, she decided to finally pursue her passion for esthetics and has been mastering her craft ever since!
She specializes in facial treatments, brows, and makeup application. Taylor loves to combine her love of connecting with people and providing relaxing yet effective treatments to make people feel their absolute best. She loves to incorporate aromatherapy and massage techniques to create the most luxurious experience possible!
Faith Roeder
Stylist
Faith was born and raised in North Carolina. After graduating cosmetology school, She pursued further knowledge hands on in the salon fine tuning her skills and is now taking clients!!
She's always had a passion for the beauty industry since she was a little girl, getting ready for dance recitals.
She wants to share that same passion with other women and help them feel confident and welcome in their unique skin, as well as develop relationships.
Outside of the salon she enjoys coffee, mountain biking/being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends!
