Shelly has been practicing esthetics and makeup artistry since 2006. Since moving to the beach in 1996, Shelly has found her niche in the beauty industry. Shelly's years of experience in the industry has helped her develop an artistic eye and attention to detail.

Her makeup has been featured in several publications for bridal, editorial and styled shoots. Whether it’s a wedding or a special event, Shelly loves to work with her clients to achieve that perfect look!

Shelly also offers facials, waxing and spray tans for all occasions. Practicing esthetics in the salon and as a freelance makeup artist, she understands the importance of the health of your skin leading to a flawless makeup application. She regularly attends classes and workshops to stay current on new trends and treatments for makeup and skincare.

CO-OWNER & HAIR STYLIST

Growing up outside of Atlanta, Lindsay has always had a love and interest in the hair and makeup industry. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2004 and loves to share her knowledge with her clients. Lindsay specializes in color, balayage and cutting.

Education is Lindsay’s number one love. She loves to learn about anything and everything that has to do with this ever evolving industry. Training and education courses are a top priority to ensure her craft remains current and up to date.

HAIR STYLIST

Jen has been a licensed stylist for 17 years, graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2007 and was the recipient of the "Eye for Style" scholarship. She received training under Beth Minardi's advanced color course, contributing to the development of leading hair color products like Shades EQ. With extensive experience in editorial hair and makeup, Jen finds inspiration and creativity in her work. She enjoys all aspects of the craft, from cutting to coloring.

In her free time, Jen can be found spending time with her three boys - Pheonix, Indie, and Liam - along with her dog Nico, reading, or relaxing at the beach.

Hi, I’m Julee! With 17 years of experience in the hairstyling industry, I’ve built my career on helping clients look and feel their best. My passion for color and creativity allows me to craft personalized looks for every age and hair texture, all while ensuring you feel completely at ease.

I love bringing out the best in my clients, creating a comfortable, judgement-free space where you can relax and enjoy the process. Whether you’re seeking a bold new look or a subtle refresh, my goal is to help you shine from the inside out.

HAIR STYLIST

Born and raised in Wilmington, NC- Makayla found her passion for cosmetology in high school. She would help the other cheerleaders to get ready for competitions. Makayla finished her schooling in December of 2020, and trained under Lindsay Webb and Kristen Wilson for 12 months further her education and perfect her techniques.

Her goal is to empower women and create the ideal salon experience for each and every one of her clients!

ESTHETICIAN

Taylor is a NC-native and has been in the beauty industry since she was a young teenager. After attending East Carolina University, she decided to finally pursue her passion for esthetics and has been mastering her craft ever since!

She specializes in facial treatments, brows, and makeup application. Taylor loves to combine her love of connecting with people and providing relaxing yet effective treatments to make people feel their absolute best. She loves to incorporate aromatherapy and massage techniques to create the most luxurious experience possible!

Born in California, raised in Montana, spent her teenage years in Pennsylvania, and a spurt of time in Nicaragua, Isabella has been all over the globe her entire life. Through her adventures, she’s picked up a love for surfing. In her free time you may find her at the beach or cuddled up with a good book.

Isabella attended cosmetology school at the Career Institute of Technology in Pennsylvania, and finished before she graduated high school. Isabella may be a young stylist, but she has lots of experience! She specializes in hair cutting, but she also loves her blondes and brunettes.

Education is one of Isabella’s favorite things, she always wants to make sure she can provide the best and most up to date services for everyone that sits in her chair. Book an appointment with Isabella today!

Born and raised in Clinton, NC, this southern belle has a passion for all things beauty. From shags & lived in blondes- to glam makeup, Kati does it all! Her biggest goal is to help women feel beautiful.

Faith was born and raised in North Carolina. After graduating cosmetology school, she is pursuing further knowledge hands on in the salon until taking clients of her own! She’s always had a passion for the beauty industry since she was a little girl, getting ready for dance recitals.

She wants to share that same passion with other women and help them feel confident and welcome in their unique skin, as well as develop relationships. Outside of the salon she enjoys coffee, mountain biking/being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends!

I’m Bianca! I’m so excited to be a part of Beauty and Bloom. Before becoming a teacher, I spent many years as a hairstylist, and I’m thrilled to be back in the salon.  I have the sweetest daughter named Quinn, who just turned 15 months old. I  love traveling the world and experiencing new places, reading a good book on the beach, and playing with my 3 dogs.

My name is Emily, I’m a marketing student at Cape Fear this fall! I’m 19 years old, and just moved here from Upstate New York. I love to hike, camp, swim.. anything outdoors! I love the crew at Beauty & Bloom & everything they stand for! Getting closer to the stylists & clients has been so fun! I can’t wait to meet more of you!
